Well, I didn't start up this site with a partner, much as I would have liked to. One thing is clear, though, the people that are coming have many talents. Some are good writers, but I see some good graphic artists, and maybe a few leaders.

Well, now is your chance to prove me right on the last one. I'm opening this up for staff applications. I don't know yet what my roster is going to be, maybe another one or two admins, plus a global moderator. Maybe more, maybe less. I know I've talked to a few of you, but that shouldn't stop anyone from applying. Who knows? Maybe that person I haven't talked to yet is lurking in the crowd.

So here's how it's going to work. I understand that some of you might want privacy in this. That's fair. You can post nothing here and pm it all to me, you can post something that says you're applying and PMing me, or you can post your entire blurb in here. Ideally, I'd like it posted in here, I don't see the need in hiding, but I don't want to crimp on someone's comfort level.

I do, however, need the following information from you. I'll put it in a nice code so you can use it.
Real Name/Online Name: What your real/assumed name is.
Length of RPG Experience: How long you have been RPing (preferably the play-by-board/forum or email RPs, but chat and tabletop too).
Previous Leadership Experience: Either online or real world. If it's online, I'd like to know where, if you can remember. Links are good.
Leadership Skills: Even if you've never been in a leadership position, what skills do you think you'd bring to it? What skills do you have?
Other skills: Besides general rp writing. Are you good with graphics? Coming up with plots? Coding? Ideas for activities/contests/games? Etc.
Just others: Anything else you want me to know.
What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member: Self explanitory.

Code:
[b]Real Name/Online Name:[/b]
[b]Length of RPG Experience:[/b]
[b]Previous Leadership Experience:[/b]
[b]Leadership Skills:[/b]
[b]Other skills:[/b]
[b]Just others:[/b]
[b]What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member:[/b]

I know this seems like a lot, but I don't know some of you well. It is difficult to judge on the site being open for so little time, so the more you can give me, the better. Some of you may not have this, but I'd like to encourage those applying to pop on IM and see if they can catch me. I'm usually on here if not in classes, which isn't too much. All are listed on my profile, if I don't reply to you, then send me a PM on the forum. Talking there can help me to get to you know better, and help me in my decision.

Well, that's it. I'll leave this open until Thursday to see who all wants to apply. Good luck.

Real Name/Online Name: Indy
Length of RPG Experience: Around 3 or 4 years
Previous Leadership Experience: Creator & admin of Sithspawn, admin on the forum A Galaxy of War, admin & co-creator on the forum The Clone Wars, moderator on the forum Era of Conflict, admin & creator on the forum Waving Standards, admin & creator on the forum We Were Soldiers, admin on the forum Age of Evolution, admin on the forum X-0 Fallen Heroes, moderator on Collab Coven.
Leadership Skills: I?m quite strict when it comes to following the rules. I read through threads to check if there has been any violation and generally keep an eye on things. I?ve had experience with arguments among members and know how to not react and how to react; as how staffers act and treat the matter is important.
Other skills: Somewhat good with graphics, good at inventing plots. I?m better at small plots rather than large plots.
Just others: N/A
What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member: As I?ve both been a member and been a staff member on several forums, I realise what members want and what staffers can give. I aim to be pleasant but firm towards members.

Real Name/Online Name: Cara
Length of RPG Experience: About six years
Previous Leadership Experience: I was the creator and administrator of a medieval/fantasy RP board that lasted nearly two years. It has since shut down because the majority of the players moved on to University, or got full time jobs. I am also a moderator on an all girl?s site (TodaysGirlsOnly).
Leadership Skills: I?m quite good with conflict resolution; I am quite good about following rules and making sure that others do the same. I know how to deal with difficult people, I can work well with anyone. I know my place, am not afraid to take charge to get things done and I get a lot accomplished.
Other skills: Good with plotting, good with coming up with ideas. I write, all the time, and am confident that my abilities are above merely satisfactory. I make things interesting. I can organize games, keep things in order. I?m alright with graphics; better than average but not the best.
Just others: I?m online a lot. You?d never have to worry about me being inactive.
What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member: I could add a little flavour, creativity, and all around fun to the site. I love people, love chatting and getting to know others. I think that plots are great, and that random, spur of the moment rping is just as great. I?m quite literate, and I promote sites I frequent shamelessly on other boards and to my friends in person.

Real Name/Online Name: Misha
Length of RPG Experience: 3 years
Previous Leadership Experience: I've had a bunch, but the ones that have probably taken the most leadership are as follows: Leadership of Christian Club (Secretary, Vice-President, President) - 3 years; Co-leader of volunteer group that tutors children - 3 years;  Creator and administrator of a Narnian roleplay (which unfortunately didn't last very long, as I ran into a crazy time in my life); One of the more active maintainers/moderators of holiday_wishes, a very high-traffic LiveJournal community for posting and granting wishes (I'm bookaddict88 over there)
Leadership Skills: I'm an organizer at heart, and absolutely love making sure things run smoothly and consistently.   I don't have to be in charge or have my own way, but if I am in charge, I know where to draw the line.  I know how to work with people, and I rarely run into conflict with others. At the same time, I know there are times when a firm hand is necessary, and I will employ it if need be. I'm very nit-picky and thorough about keeping an eye on things and seeing if they are being done the way they should be done, but I do know when to draw the line and when to let things slide.
Other skills: I'm not that creative, so I'm not that at coming up with brand new ideas. However, I'm very good at working with other people's ideas - polishing them, fitting them for what we need, problem-solving, and in some cases, showing why they're impractical.  You see, I'm very practical and organized, but I also like to have fun and spontaneity. Balance is good. Smiley  I am decent with graphics, have an above average knowledge of computers (but I'm by no means an expert), am pretty responsible/dependable, and love helping other people. According to a test I took for school, my strengths are the following: developer, harmony, consistency, input, intellection. I'm not going to bother explaining them, since I'm already long-winded enough, but I will say that I think they describe me well.
Just others: Like Cara, I'm online a lot. More than I should be, actually, but at least you won't have to worry about inactivity on my part!
What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member: I could help with both organizational and moderator-type duties in a way that is firm but sensitive. I'm a listener and observer as well as a participator, so I will keep a handle on what's going on and what, if anything, needs to be done.  I love people, so I'll enjoy getting to know everyone and will make sure there's not a divide between staff and members.

Real Name/Online Name: Cooper
Length of RPG Experience: Hmm...about three years
Previous Leadership Experience: Well, I'm the Vice President of my school's Student Council, and I have been so for two years. I run my school's part of Schools For Schools, which is an organization that raises money for children in Northern Uganda. I'm part of FACT, which is a group that opposes the Tobacco Companies attempts to target teens. I'm our specific groups 'President' (not an official title, but our Advisor calls me that.) I've debated against state politicians and all that fun jazz. I help with my school's Key Club. I'm on the Pep and School Spirit board at my school as well. I've owned a number of sites, all of which I was the main administrator for. I've moderated on a number of boards, though most of them closed due to inactivity by the admin.
Leadership Skills: To be blatantly honest, I perhaps lack in the area of list organization, but when it comes to rules (and enforcing them) I'm extremely tough. As a general rule I'm a good and friendly person, but I know when it's time to play the biatch, and I'm quite the expert at it. I've got a good sense of what's fair, and what's pushing the limits and above all else, I'm forgiving. If someone gets into a fight with me over something, I'm the first person to laugh and let it go. If what they do is more severe I might be less likely to forgive, but if a case is presented to me with enough reason to do so, I will.

Above all else though, I'm creative when it comes to plots. Boardwide plots are my expertise, though I'm pretty good at helping minor character plots along as well. My occasionally out there mind always seems to have some kind of idea running through it, and I'd like to think they're good ones!
Other skills: I?m (well I?d like to think I am) good with graphics, and like I said, plots are my expertise.
Just others: I?m online pretty often, though I?ll be honest in saying that I don?t spend a bazillion hours on the computer; only about a million.
What you could bring to Into Narnia as a staff member: I can provide a more out of the box approach to the plot of the board. I don?t know as much about Narnia as some of the other people do here, but I do know what makes for a fun role play. I would say that perhaps the best thing I can bring to Into Narnia is my experience as a staff member (out of the three years I?ve been playing, I?ve been working on or owning sites for two of them) and my slightly insane mind.

Thursday has come and is drawing to a close. I'm going to end this now because it doesn't seem like anyone else is going to apply. Fair enough. I've made my decision and will post it in another thread.
