.General Personality:Lucy has changed since she first entered the wardrobe, though her basic nature has stayed the same. Though no longer so naive, she remains innocent and sweet. She has kept her ready laugh and quick smile, and she still embraces the unexpected and believes in the impossible. She looks at everything with wide-eyed wonder, as if she were seeing it for the first time. Lucy is also very honest, and thus is hurt when her siblings don't believe her when she returns from Narnia for the first time.
Lucy loves people (and "people", of course, is not just limited to humans). She is polite and friendly, and doesn't mind talking to perfect strangers. In fact, she loves meeting new people and making new friends. Lucy is devoted and loyal to her friends and family (of which Peter is her favorite sibling), and she has a big heart. It is appropriate that Lucy receives the cordial from Father Christmas, for she is the type of person who always tries to make people feel better.
A bit of a tomboy, Lucy was renowned for her courage in Narnia (she is often called Queen Lucy the Valiant.). She always accompanied her brothers into skirmishes, and was quite accomplished with the bow and arrow. However, though she often takes place in activities reserved for males, in other ways, she is still very much a girl. Like Susan, she loves dancing and pretty dresses. While men flocked to her sister in Narnia, Lucy herself had her fair share of suitors, though she herself never showed much interest in any of them.
At home in England once again, Lucy once more became a child of 8 years old, lacking skills, knowledge, and experience. But that doesn't mean that she's forgotten her time in Narnia, or that she's completely lost her Narnian personality and maturity. Lucy often acts much older than her age. After all, she was a queen for about 15 years. In the past year, Lucy has never been as happy as she was in Narnia, or even quite as happy as she was before she entered Narnia, and she wasn't always too happy then. Narnia was more her home than England will ever be, and she was thrust out of that country as quickly and unexpectedly as she found herself thrust into it. Coming back from bright and beautiful Narnia to dreary, war-torn England was extremely hard on her and her siblings, and while Lucy's not living in the past, she does grow wistful thinking of Narnia from time to time. And she has not given up hope of someday going back - every time she enters a new house, she has an impulse to check the wardrobe to see if she can find another entrance into Narnia.

EdmundGeneral History:When Lucy Pevensie was 9 years old, she was sent with her brothers and sister to the house of an old professor in the country because of the bombing of London. She'd not been too happy to leave her mother, esp. since she was already missing her father, who was fighting in the war. But it was impossible for Lucy to stay unhappy for long, and she tried to make the most of her time at Professor Kirke's home. Of course, it helped that not too long after she arrived, she discovered a wardrobe that was the doorway to a magical country called Narnia.
The first person Lucy met in Narnia was a faun named Mr. Tumnus, who originally wanted to kidnap her. However, he felt bad about it, because they were getting to be friends, and he let her go. Lucy returned through the wardrobe, and tried to tell her siblings what had happened. None of them believed her, which made her miserable for days. Finally, however, all of the children arrived in Narnia. Together, with the help of Aslan the Lion, they saved the country from the evil witch Jadis, who for a hundred years had made it winter in Narnia, with no Christmas. Afterwards, they were made queens and kings of Narnia.
Lucy was queen there for 15 years and had many grand adventures. While at first, there were nights when her longing for her parents was almost too much to bear, by the end, memories of England had all but faded away, so that she only really thought about it in her dreams. Her time in Narnia has matured her much faster than she would have matured in England - but then, Narnian air tends to do that to people.
Then, just as suddenly and unexpectedly as she was swept into Narnia through the wardrobe, she was swept back out. The four siblings were riding after the White Stag when they found the lamppost. Lucy thought it seemed awfully familiar, and ever the adventuring one, went off to check. The others followed, and next thing they knew, they were tumbling back through the door of the wardrobe. The strange thing was that although they'd spent 15 years in Narnia, no time at all had passed in England.
They've now been home for a year, and though Lucy would love to go back to Narnia, she hasn't found a way in yet. She's still not given up hope, though!
