General Personality: Roxanne is loyal to her family in one aspect: she loves them, truly cares for them and wishes them only the best. But she doesn't seem to get along with them one bit. She despises her father for the way he treats her and her mother for letting him be so over-controlling. She wants them to see her as trustworthy, but would never say so except when arguing with them. Thus, she is very cautious about trusting others. She might not tell a secret to someone she has known for years if she doesn't think they are trustworthy and honest. But if she pledges her loyalty, she will be good to her promise. She is especially good at keeping secrets and not gossiping.
Though Roxanne is compassionate, caring for others, she finds it hard to go out of her way to do so. She will help when she can but tries not to "burden" herself with the responsibility of taking care of others all the time. She is prideful - a trait she no doubt got from her father - and has a terrible time admitting when she is wrong and accepting help. Along with that comes that she can also be arrogant, thinking she is always right. But under all of that is her rebelliousness. She has gone for so long defying her father's rules that she sometimes finds it hard to obey orders from anyone. She is very independent.
Roxanne is a romantic at heart, but she would never let anyone know. She wants to appear strong. She doesn't limit herself and thinks she can do whatever she puts her mind to with diligence. She is witty and intelligent, attentive to things that are going on. She also has good intuition, being able to notice when there is more to something or when she is being lied to.

General History:Roxanne was born in mid-June. Her father was a friend of the King and was Lord Protector of Stormness Head, a fortress in the mountains of Archenland. Lord Drake was very overprotective and cautious and because of this he made Roxanne say on the fortress grounds for her first 7 years until constant watch of her nurse or mother. Though he had the best intentions in mind, Roxanne often felt caged in, even at such a young age. The first time she ever visited Anvard was in her 8th year for some special event that she wasn't able to really take part in.
Throughout her childhood, Roxanne was taught by wise, intelligent tutors during her time indoors...which was most of the time. She learn a lot of head knowledge but being keep on such a tight leash made her rebellious towards her father and eager to disobey him whenever she could think of a good reason and alternative. But she did learn from him the importance of being cautious, even if he sometimes was a bit too much.
When Roxanne turned 10 she was allowed a lot more freedom around Stormness Head and even a few more trips to Narnia and the rest of Archenland. The Captain of the Guard taught her how to defend herself with daggers, though he was sure specify every lesson that it was for defense and only if she could get away. But she was never one to run away from fears or problems. In her 15 year, she spent the summer at Anvard with her mother and father, who was their on business. Ever since, she has spent the summers at Anvard (and sometimes Narnia), though her father was always nervous about her being there.
It seems he had good reason too, for when the Old Narnians began to uprise against the Telmarians, Roxanne was in Narnia. She was staying with the Telmarians and her parents and her father insisted she be locked up since it seemed war was close at hand. But she couldn't take it. Not a moment more. She took her horse and galloped away. Like most runaways, she finally decided she needed to return but, not knowing the country, got lost. It was then that she was "ambushed" by some Old Narnians. She didn't have anything, but begged them to take her with them. And some how they were convinced. So she joined the Narnians to support their cause...but mostly to escape her father.
Other/Notes: Nope.
SampleRP Sample: PRE-Narnia Allie
Her father was going to be furious. Just furious. There was no other word to describe it. But at this moment, Rox didn't really care. She hated him for the way he confined her to a room...especially when in Narnia! But that was the reason he was being strict. He was that he trusted the Telmarians but her didn't trust her. So much for trust, that died a long time ago. But this was something different all together from the ways she had disobeyed him before. I mean, it's not like she could be gone for three hours and it not be noticed, right? Maybe if she had thought it out instead of just grabbing her horse and heading for the trees like she was running away. Which she was. But only for three hours. Three hours of freedom. She was surprised she had been able to stay away that long.
But she knew the longer she stayed the more she would be locked up in the castle...quite a problem. If she stayed longer she had more time in Narnia alone THEN but a lot less time LATER. She hated having to think so much about those kinds of things. Anyways, she was back and had just fixed the horse in the stables. She wondered how long it would take her father or someone he had sent out to find her. But until they did, she walked through the courtyard trying to delay the consequences and think of a good excuse. She knew that he wouldn't be fooled with just anything. No, that wasn't his way. She needed something really good.
Then she saw him coming and she winced. He had a scowl on his face and a furrow in his brow. It would be an understatement to say he looked upset. "Fa-father," she said, bowing her head and dipping in a slightly curtsy. But it didn't help. She got a slap to her face and not a word from him. He had two ways of responding: 1) yelling and forgetting to punish or 2) punishing and forgetting to yell. She wasn't sure which was better. But it seemed she would have to settled with the latter this time.
